This is a messaging tool that uses origami to express emotion. Origami is the traditional Japanese craft of paper folding that began as a courtesy. In the past Japanese decorative paper was folded neatly for gift wrapping. This tool uses modern communication to allow people to create a digital origami letter then send it or print and fold it themselves, giving them two ways to enjoy their messages.
Continue readingThis 3D project was realized in order to capture the atmosphere and aura of the old Tunisian city center. Based on a real alley in the old downtown of Tunis, all variations of textures and degraded surfaces have been done manually. The main goal was to achieve some photorealistic renders that tell a story and engage the viewer in a mixed feeling trip while exploring different CGI renders moods and experiment new shading and Texturing workflows.

Continue readingCamel Robot is a new way to show an specific brand logo for showcase purposes. It's deeply inspired by industrial machines and robotics. The design is thought-out to fit the shape of the brand logo, but in a more futuristic perspective. It's a way to play with the boundaries of a brand communication, showing it in a hi-end technical manner. The design has two levels, the outside parts and the visible interior parts, this way it can be perceived as a complex machine where each part has its own function and give the feeling that even though it's a static image the camel is alive.
